JERI GOES HOME

5 January 2022

As I am writing this, I am listening to Ned's show this week.  Jeri is his guest star.  If you're interested in in learning how to write arrangements for a band, check it out.

Jeri has now started her return trip home, taking the train to the Bay Area to spend the night with her best friend, Jenny, from the Piņata Group.  Jenny was born 6 weeks after Jeri and they have grown up as sisters, though in their adulthood, don't get a chance to see each other all that often.

Ned fixed dinner for us last night and Jeri spent the night here.  She left early in the morning to have coffee with her friend Sarah, and was home in time for me to bake the raspberry French toast that I saw on the Ina Garten Show on Saturday.

We worked some of the puzzle Jeri gave me for Christmas

She also took pictures of the dogs.

Then I took my nap.  When I woke up Jeri was visiting with her friend Jon and packing up to go to the train station.  We had a nice good bye.

Then it was time to listen to Ned's radio show.

When the radio show was finished, I started a new book..."Autopsy," by Patricia Cornwell, which I won in a drawing on GoodReads.

It seems like it's been a full day, though not exactly a "busy" one.  And now, with Jeri gone, it seems like the holidays are actually over.
