Hi! Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud) Cheers to all of us thieves!

I don't remember where
I found  these questions

1. Something that made you cry this year?
I pretty much cry at anything emotional, whether sad emotion or happy emotion.  The last thing that made me cry was hearing of Betty White's death.

2. Something you want to do again next year?
Watch baby squirrels grow to adulthood.

3. Talk about a new friend you made this year
I haven't seen any new people this year and saw very few friends this year, because of the pandemic.  The new friends I have made are all pen pals, whom I've never met face to face.

4. How was your birthday this year?
See's candy from Ned & Marta.  Walt bought crab for dinner.  Jessica sent a decorated mini cake, and I ended the day with a big family/friends birthday ZOOM.

5. Favorite book you read this year?
"The Boys" by Ron and Clint Howard.

6. What’s a bad habit you picked up this year?
I have enough bad habits already. I don't think I picked up any new ones.

7. Post a picture from the beginning of the year

Our friend Marcio and his wife surprised us with a visit from Brasil on New Year's eve.  I hadn't seen him in 30 years.

8. Post a picture from the end of the year

Ned, Christmas morning -- one of my favorite pictures of Ned.

9. A memorable meal this year?
Ned has taken over cooking most dinners and is a very good cook.  His sous vide roasts are always terrific.

10. What are you excited about for next year?
At the moment our 2022 calendar is empty, but I will look forward to going back to Santa Barbara in July.

11. What’s something you learned this year?
As I mentioned in Saturday 9, I learned about the effects pineapple has on your health and have been eating it regularly ever since.

12. What’s something new about your place of residence (room, home, or general location) now vs the start of the year?
Because of clearing away stuff for Christmas, the living room is less cluttered than it was at the start of the year

13. Favorite place you visited this year?
We really only went one place--to Santa Barbara for Tom's birthday.

14. Did you keep any New Year’s Resolutions?
I didn't make any resolutions last year because I never keep them.

15. Will you make New Year's Resolutions for 2022?
This year I am going to try to read 50 books, like I used to every year.
