Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud). Cheers to all of us thieves!

Stolen from Sign Up Genius

 1. Do you like or dislike surprises? Why or why not?
Probably depends on the surprise, but I think I like them.

2. In the evening, would you rather play a game, visit a relative, watch a movie, or read?
Watch TV or read.

3. Would you rather vacation in Hawaii or Alaska, and why?
I've been to both and I think I'd probably prefer Hawaii, just because of the ocean views, but Alaska is beautiful and I've always wanted to take a cruise up the inside passage.

4. Would you rather win the lottery or work at the perfect job? And why?
I'm retired.  I'd rather win the lottery!  (Of course I'd have to buy a ticket first)

5. If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to?
1985.  I was working with The Lamplighters then and it was one of the happiest periods of my life.  And I had five living children.

6. Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?
I'm assuming "necessities" includes water.  I definitely could not go a day without water.  I'd say my computer or my cell phone, but really I could easily go a day without either of them (and do when we travel)

7. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
Two.  Birkenstocks and something black that I wear to the theater. (though I often wear the Birkenstocks.  I hate shoes)

8. What would you do if you won the lottery?
Financially help our kids, give big family gifts to the children I sponsor through Compassion, Int'l, and give some money to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

9. What form of public transportation do you prefer? (air, boat, train, bus, car, etc.)
I used to like air, but airports and airplanes are so uncomfortable these days that I don't any more.  I haven't been on a train in a long time but when I did go, I loved it.  I don't think of "car" as a public transportation.

10. What's your favorite zoo animal?
Well, I'd say elephant, but I don't like to see elephants in zoos, they belong in the wild.  When I see an elephant standing alone on cement in a zoo, I feel the need to apologize to it. Check this video to see an elephant Cher helped be released to a sanctuary (it took her -- and many others -- three years or more)

11. If you could go back in time to change one thing, what would it be?
My son David's death.

12. How many pillows do you sleep with?
Just one.

13. What's the longest you've gone without sleep (and why)?
I think I didn't sleep for 2 days after our son Paul died.

14. What's the tallest building you've been to the top in?
We visited the top of the World Trade Center many years ago.  Remembering that view from there gives me the shudders for those people who jumped out of the building after the plane crashed.

15. What are your hobbies?
Writing letters, reading, sometimes working puzzles, creating "Funny the World each day, web surfing.
