22 June 2021

Ned and Marta decided to cook brunch for Walt and Marta's father, Jerry.

Ned made eggs Benedict, along with a big fruit salad and hash browns (cooked in the air fryer).

Walt, Jerry and I visited while Ned and Marta cooked.  Jerry, who has severe hearing problems has recently had surgery that has improved his hearing and his wife, who is very chatty, was not here, so we probably had more conversation with him than we have ever had.  Each dad had a dog to care for.

Breakfast was delicious and came with mimosas

Each dad got a bottle of wine, and Walt got the very best card ever.

When brunch was over, we sat and watched Sled Hockey, a sport I had never heard of (Ned checked out the rules)

When it was over, Jerry went home to take a nap, Walt and I each took naps, and Ned made dog food and we planned for Walt's request, pasta with pesto, for dinner.
