5 December 2021

Hi! Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud). Cheers to all of us thieves!

1. What are your plans for December
This weekend we have a memorial service for our friend Ellen, who died just as the pandemic was erupting (did not die of COVID) so there could not be a memorial service.  I expect a full house for the memorial.  She and her wife were friends with everyone.  And then there is nothing else planned until Christmas, which will be celebrated on the 27th because that's the only day everybody can get here.  Walt and I will have Christmas dinner alone on the 25th.

2. How do you celebrate your wins/success
I can't think of whether I "celebrate" a win or success.

3. Are holiday movies only for the holiday season
Definitely not.  I can watch any of my favorite holiday movies any time during the year.

4. What would you consider a waste of money
Gambling.  Especially if you are as unlucky as I am.

5. What do you like to eat for breakfast
English muffins or cereal.  Occasionally eggs with tortilla and salsa.

6. How do you feel about poetry
I have never understood poetry, other than haiku or limericks.  I've tried to like poetry, but I don't.

7. Are you shy
Very

8. Do you take time to reflect on your goals
No.

9. Something you are curious to know more about
I am curious about so many strange things, mostly about animals (especially elephants), but also all sorts of odd facts that pop up in my trivia question each day.

10. Something that makes you feel fancy
Being dressed up and going to a fancy restaurant.

11. How you're still handling the pandemic
Still wearing masks when out in public.  Staying home most of the time.

12. A close friend you've never met in person
My favorite pen pal, Anita.  We'll probably never meet, but I enjoy her letters.

13. Do you get in on trends early or later
I'm not a big "trend" follower.

14. What is something you do on a regular basis
Watch TV, write my journal, write pen pal letters.

15. Do you enjoy spending time with family
I love our family.  The best times are when the family is all together for holidays or just hanging out.  I feel so lucky that there is nobody in the family with whom I have a difficult time.
