6 August 2021

It seemed like such a short visit, but it was time to start home.

Alice, Walt and Olivia went through some old documents about the Baur grandfather and his immigration from Germany and owning a silver mine in Colorado.  Brianna learned some things about her family history.

Joe showed pictures of the recent trip he and Alice Nan had taken to family reunions, including one in the DC area.

Lacie was beginning to realize that her time with Uncle Ned was almost over.

Ned got us all outside for one last group photo. Lacie had a difficult time not crying.

Ned briefly got the girls laughing, but it didn't last long.

Soon we were packed up, in the car and saying our last "Hour Baur" before hitting the freeway.  It was a short weekend, but a full one and we had such fun.
