A new meme started today, created by
the first host of Sunday Stealing and written by him and others. One of
the writers has made negative comments about Sunday Stealing questions and the
group writing Monday Madness write "Our promise is to never post yes or no
questions. We won't ask what you're wearing or ask what is the last song you
heard. We will NOT ask just stupid questions. Thanks for
stopping by! We hope you enjoy our first set of questions." So let's try
it out and see how it works. It will be interesting to see if this group
can go many weeks without any "what's the last song you heard" kind of
1. You are at a party in a very
bad mood. There is an obnoxious guest with a camera snapping pictures of
everyone in sight. Do you allow the photographs or ask them to stop?
If I'm in a bad mood, there is little chance I will be at a party in the first
place. But if I were, I would ignore the photographer, or just go home,
which I probably want to do anyway.
2.Wedding, Cufflinks, Black And White, Bow Tie, Tuxedo You are on your way to
a formal affair and running late. You are the guest speaker at this event and
everyone is waiting for you. A police officer pulls you over for speeding. Do
you make up a wild excuse or truthfully tell him where you are going and try to
talk your way out of the citation? Tell us your tall tale!
I have been stopped twice for speeding, and both times told the truth and was
able to talk myself out of the citation.
3. When you drive down memory lane for the last two years of your life and
look in the rear-view mirror, do you see a happy journey or a bumpy ride?
Oh, it's a bumpy ride, especially the last year, dealing with the coronavirus.
There are lots of happy moments, but with a mother with Alzheimers and #45 in
the White House, there are lots of bumpy ride moments.
4. Who makes you laugh when no one else can?
The squirrels who play in our back yard and who beg for peanuts at our back
5. What are your superpowers?
Finding new ways to cook chicken, manipulation of the tv remote.
6. What is the last thing you memorized?
I can't remember.
7. Tell us something you once took that you wish you could give back?
I can't match the great answer The
Gal Herself gave: I once spooned a ton of avocado onto my plate, but it
was wasabi. You do not want to dip your chip in wasabi, but you cannot give it
8. The iPhone just gave birth to the next generation of phones. What would
you name them?
The i_____? iPhoneTE (for Too Expensive)
9. How much mystery should be in a relationship? Is it a good thing or not?
Well, you don't want too much mystery, but it's nice to be able to have
something personal that you don't have to share with someone else.
10. What is your weekend blogging routine?
I think of the weekend as my "vacation." I write blog entries every day,
and have to come up with something mildly interesting to write about, but by
doing Saturday 9 and Sunday Stealing (and maybe now Monday Madness), all I have
to do is answer questions.
