Welcome to the home of Monday Madness I'm finally back. Judd here! I was the first host of Sunday Stealing. I also was the host of The Rising Blogger. Our authors each week are Bud from WTIT: The Blog & Mimi Lenox of Mimi Writes. Thanks for stopping by! We hope you enjoy our questions.

The What's So Special Meme Questions

Merriam-Webster defines the word "special" as follows: being in some way superior, held in particular esteem, readily distinguishable from the same category, unique, being other than usual, or designed for a particular purpose or occasion.

1. Tell us about a special piece of cookware, dinnerware, or kitchen item in your home that has sentimental value.

I have a cookie jar that was in my house all of my childhood.  The paint is all gone now, but I still have it.  I haven't filled it in years, though (cookies get eaten too quickly)

2. Is there one piece of jewelry you always wear that reminds you of someone or brings back a special memory? If so, tell us about it.

I was wearing them yesterday -- smiley face earrings, which I bought after our son Paul died.  Paul and I had a joke about smiley faces and always gave each other smiley gifts -- a gigantic candle, a smiley quilt, smiley ties, etc.

3. When you go out for a meal (yes, folks, those were the good 'ole days) do you make special requests having to do with food choices, extra condiments, seating arrangements, special instructions for how your food is cooked and the like? What are your special requests?

No.  I'm very boring.  I take things as they are listed and other than asking for no lettuce on sandwiches, I can't think of any other special request I make.

4. What makes your home special to you and your family?

We've lived here 47 years and the house is filled with memories.

5. We've had a lot of time to think up ways to make our lives more interesting while on lockdown. What do you do to make an otherwise ordinary day/night more special? In other words, what does your "special night" look like?

I can't think of a "special night" unless it's a night when something special is on TV.  Our nights are pretty routine--eat dinner, watch Jeopardy and then something else, then Walt goes upstairs and I watch TV until midnight or so.  It will be a "special night" if I can get to sleep.  I don't have many special nights.

6. You are waiting for an exciting special delivery! What's in the box?

I got it yesterday -- a new Kindle.  Now I'm trying to learn how best to use it.

7. When is the last time you went on a special assignment?

The last show I reviewed was in March, Camelot.  Then all theaters shut down so no more shows to review, no more people to interview, no more feature articles to write.

8. If you were saving a bottle of wine for a special occasion, what would the occasion be and who would be in attendance?

Well, I don't usually drink wine and if we have a special occasion it would just be a birthday or something like that.  Maybe when our daughter and her husband are able to fly out here from Boston.

9. What is the last "special report" or "breaking news report" you heard?

Lots of special reports this week.  The last one I heard before I started writing this was the morning's report by the doctors taking care of the president.

10. Who or what in your life gets special treatment?

She trained us for 10 years, but we finally know how to give special treatment to our Chihuahua
