This is entry #7400 !!! 27 June 2020
Welcome to Saturday 9. What we've
committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday.
Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be
totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We
encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we
don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however,
and here is today's meme! 1) This song is about the fantasy of being one of the "beautiful people," but how hollow the reality can be. Do you often find yourself envying others for what they have?
No. If I had what all those "beautiful people" have, I
wouldn't know what to do with it. And you never know what goes on inside
someone's life--they may look beautiful on the outside, but be miserable on the
inside. Well,
obviously Walt. And Char.
I've never paid much attention to cars except before we were
married when I saw an ad for a Land Rover and always wanted to have one.
But then we got a red convertible instead. Two. Compassion, International, which sponsors kids in 3rd world countries. I have several I sponsor and several I just write to. I've been sponsoring for more than 10 years now. I like it because they encourage communication between sponsor and child.
The other is the
David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
in Kenya, which rescues orphaned elephants and raises them to return them to the
wild.
Nah. I watch. It is amazing to me how thin the needle they use for
flu shots is. You know you have been stuck but there is no sensation at
all.
Catsup, BBQ sauce, many kinds of mustard, Sriracha, Chinese hot
sauce, horseradish, and other oddball condiments.
Nope, more's the pity. I dearly wanted red hair...or auburn
hair, rather. I wanted to be Maureen O'Hara.
No.
Hard work. |
