1. Have you ever had a vacation ruined by the weather or did you just work around it?
We have had bad weather on vacations -- anybody who went camping with the Blackfords knows "rain." But we just work around it...even this time.
2. What small changes do you feel people could make to give the planet a fighting chance against global warming?
"A" small change? Recycle.
I am not aware
of it, but in this part of California you probably wouldn't be because our
"seasons" aren't as defined as they are in other places in the country.
We have some
triple digit heat in the summertime, perhaps more than we used to have. I
don't notice anything drastic here, but in California as a whole, sure,
with more forest fires and flooding.
Good lord, I
don't know. Seems to me some scientists have said it's too late, but
surely we can make improvements! (The 3 month lock-down already cleared
the air in So. California!)

We are having a
4th of July dinner -- hot dogs, potato chips, stuffed eggs and apple pie.
Every time I make a pie, I hope that the crust will be better than the last time
I made it, so that would be my hope for a skill today.

see on the 4th, but can't this year because of the virus. Play on-line

It depends on
how strong it is, but generally speaking I like wind.
I don't think
so. I have a sneezing fit every morning, wind or no wind, but once that is
over, I'm fine for the rest of the day.
Oh yeah. I think once it was so strong I put off a trip to San Francisco
because it was so difficult to control the car on the freeway.
Me I don't think ever, but I stood with my son a few years ago while he flew a
kite for his daughter, who enjoyed it for about 20 seconds and then ran off to
do something else. He father remarked "I remember this as being more fun
when I was younger."
Nah. I'd be afraid I'd crash.
