Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud) Cheers to all of us thieves!

Stolen from Visible Woman

1. Day 1 of serious isolation behavior:
I can't think what that would be.  Since I isolate pretty much all the time, no serious change.

2. First trip you had to cancel.
July 4th trip to Santa Barbara for our son's 50th birthday (which had to be canceled)

3. Other trips canceled
We had no other trips canceled, but haven't made any plans for trips. And I couldn't visit my mother on her 102nd birthday.

4. Last trip out of town before isolation.
I can't remember.  Probably last trip out of Davis was to Sacramento (15 miles away) to review a show.

5. Furthest from home since isolation.
to Walt's brother's house for lunch one day -- he lives about 70 miles away and we safe distanced and masked, but it was nice to see him and his wife.

6. Last Meal sitting in a restaurant before Isolation.
I can't remember ... we don't go out to restaurants much.

7. How many books have you read?
Not enough.  I have only read 11 books in 2020 -- I usually aim for 50+ books a year.

8. First event you didn’t attend due to virus.
Other than my son's birthday, which had to be canceled, nothing.

9. Date and event of last over 200-person event.
A Bronx Tale, March 6 in Sacramento, a touring Broadway show.

10. Last live music event.
December 13, 2017,

11. Things you are eating more of since isolation

12. Things you are eating less of since isolation.
I don't know.  Since I don't shop any more (my son does), I can't remember the things I used to buy that I don't have him buy now.  Less impulse buys, I guess.

13. What restaurants have you gotten take-out meals from?
Guadalajara Mexican restaurant, the Hot Dogger, Togo's, Ding How Chinese restaurant, Thai Nakorn, Panda Express

14. Have you found yourself bored in isolation?
Not really.

15. Have you gained or lost weight?
Gained.  I don't have a working scale, so I don't know how much but I can tell from the way my clothes fit.

16. Do you drink alcohol?  No.

17. If so, more or less in isolation?  N/A

18. What entertainments have you explored?
Watching a lot more Netflix  (Just saw The Prom.  Excellent!  Bring tissues.)

19. Gotten into anything new?
Pen Pals.

20. Have you done crosswords? Board games? Jigsaw puzzles?
I bought a puzzle, but Ned is working most of it.  I can't seem to sit down and work on it.  I play on-line Scrabble with my granddaughters (6 and 12), whom I will not see in all of 2020.

21. Have you cleaned out some cabinet, drawer, closet, etc. thoroughly?
I haven't cleaned anything thoroughly.

22. Are you spending about the same amount of money?
Probably.  All of it from Amazon.

23. Done Zoom, Facetime, etc. meetups?
Zoom and Facetime.

24. Had a social occasion with a small group of people you consider safe?
We had dinner with friends from Olympia, Washington, stopping to change trains.  We ate at an outdoor pizza place.  And the lunch with Walt's brother and his wife.  We also went to a birthday party for a friend.  It was outside in the street and there was a bag piper who stood on their lawn and played.  We were all masked.

25. Did you vote? In Person? On Election Day?
I voted by mail.  If I were in a swing state, the current president would be trying to get my vote invalidated.

I made waffles for breakfast
