Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud) Cheers to all of us thieves!

More COVID-19 questions from Swap Bot

1 – What is something you are doing due to the pandemic that you normally don’t do? After the pandemic will you continue to so this?

Ned and I are watching a movie a day (except on weekends, when he records his radio show).  I'm really enjoying it and hope we continue after the quarantine is over (though the quarantine has nothing to do with whether or not we watch a movie).  I am keeping a list of all the movies we watch along with quasi reviews, just to keep my hand in!

2 - What made you happy, sad, or frustrated today? List, all big and/or small, as there may be some of one or all of these feelings!

Jeri called and we chatted for about an hour.  It's always fun to talk with my daughter.  I also watched a fun movie called Oddball.  And I always love sitting and watching the antics of the squirrels running around in the back yard.

3- What is one of the first things you will do when the pandemic is over?

Go see my mother and give her a big hug!

4 – Are you an essential employee or do you know someone who is? Is this affecting you in some way?

I am not an essential employee, Walt is retired, Ned is not working now and Marta is working from home.  The only one in the family who seems to be really affected by this all is Jeri, who now has to teach music classes on line, and who has lost her jobs playing in the pit bands for various theatrical productions.

5 – What are you doing to de-stress during this stressful time?

I don't feel particularly stressed by the pandemic.  If I'm stressed it's because there are too many projects I'm working on and not enough time to do them all.

6 – Have you tried any new recipes during this time? Please share your recipe if you want to.

Hmmm...hard to say.  I make new things all the time.  Nothing particularly "new" lately, though I've made pizza twice using the Pioneer Woman's recipe for the crust and it turned out better than any recipe I've used in the past.

7 – Have you always lived where you do now? If not, how did you wind up in the place you currently live?

We moved here in 1973, when Walt's office, which was based in Berkeley, re-located to Davis.  We were not happy about it and it took me about 15 years before I thought of this as "home," but I do now.

8- Where is the last place you visited on-line?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oddball_(film).  I was reading up on  the background of the movie I'd just watched.

9- What is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to you?

Ever?  Wow.  A lot of people have said a lot of nice things to me over the past 77 years.  I can't think of one that stands out from the others.

10 – Tell me about the last photo on your camera (phone or real camera or both!)

The one I posted as Photo of the Day two days ago:

PHOTO OF THE DAY

Bri looking at the video Ned made for her.
