Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud) Cheers to all of us thieves!

These are from Stark Raving Parker

A song you like with a colour in the title
I'll have a Blue Christmas without you."

A song that needs to be played very loud
The overture to Les Miserables

A song that makes you want to dance
I don't really dance, but I did rather tap my toe and/or sway to some of the old Lawsuit  songs, like "Thank God, You're Doing Fine.".

A song to drive to
Anything by John Denver or, right now, the cast album to Hamilton.  I once drove 400 miles from Santa Barbara to Davis and played ONLY Judy Garland songs.

A song with a number in the title
Pennsylvania 6-5000

A song that makes you happy
The aforementioned "Thank God You're Doing Fine."

A song that makes you sad
"In the Arms of the Angel," which my two daughters-in-law sang at Paul's funeral.

A song that reminds you of summer
Nat King Cole's "Mona Lisa," which was played all the time at the pool where we went on our vacation when I was a kid.

A song that you remember from your childhood
Oh lord so many.  Ours was a house of music.  But I had to bring our favorite record to school to play one time and I brought "Don't Fence Me In" by Bing Crosby.  Everyone else brought something classical.  I suspect I was the only honest one in the class.

A song that breaks your heart
"In the Arms of the Angel."

A song that you never get tired of
It changes over time, but right now it's "The Room where it happened" from Hamilton.

A song from your preteen year
"How Much Is that Doggie in the Window?"

A song that is a cover by another artist
Surprisingly, I like the "Over the Rainbow" by that Hawaiian guy, Israel Kamakawiwoʻole

A song from the year you were born
I checked out songs from 1943 and the only one I recognize is "This is the Army, Mr. Jones."

A song that makes you think about life
"Because I Knew You" from Wicked.  So very true of good relationships.

Your favourite song with a persons name in the title
I don't know that it's a favorite, but I've always liked "Sweet Caroline," which reminds me of my cousin Peach (whose name was Caroline)

A song that you think everyone should listen to
"Glitter and Be Gay," from Candide.  Just because it's such an amazing song.

A song by a band you wish were still together
"Funny," the song that inspired the name of this journal.  It was by Lawsuit, the 10-11 piece band my kids were in for 10 years.

A song by an artist no longer living
Most of the singers I have enjoyed are now dead,

A song by an artist with a voice you love
Judy Garland's rendition of "Stormy Weather" on her Carnegie Hall album.

I'd love it if you'd leave a comment!
