Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!
Saturday 9: Up on the Roof (1979)
1) JT sings that, when the world gets him down, he goes up on the roof to find peace. When you're "feeling tired and beat," what do you do to cheer yourself up?
I watch TV. Familiar TV, like NCIS or
Criminal Minds. It's like visiting with old friends.
We aren't extravagant, but we don't stick to a budget.
Over the past few months, so many folks have done good things
for Walt and me with our various health problems. from Ned, who was
indispensible, to Walt's sister and brother, Ned's wife, Tom, and our friend
Jessica....as well as Ashley, who came to clip Polly's toenails. We
are so grateful to them all.
Oh lots. Anybody with as many gay men friends as I have
has lots of platonic friends!
No, but Paul's widow is a veterinarian. Two of my
mother's older sisters were nurses, but i never knew them well.
I love spring for blossoms, autumn for beautiful trees, but
give a slight edge to autumn because spring has the misfortune of being
followed by summer, my least favorite time of the year.
Never, though when Walt was recovering from his surgery and
sleeping downstairs, we had the golf channel on all night because it helped
him fall asleep.
Uh...let me try: Mars, Uranus, Venus, Jupiter, Earth,
Pluto (tho that has been de-planetized). Nope. I'll have to look
up the other 3 (and then feel stupid for not remembering!)
I'll choose 30 and brilliant.
