Welcome to Saturday 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!

Our son Ned and wife Marta will probably be
here this weekend. We are going to Santa Barbara on Wednesday
for our son Tom's birthday and will be staying with Walt's sister. A big
family week! (I also saw my mother yesterday)

eating bad foods.
Definitely the first day. By the last
day I was usually thrilled to be leaving. (And BTW, I was also
thrilled when Pope Benedict resigned!)
2003, mini golf in Australia. I've
never played regular golf, though Tom does.
My back. My back itches so often -- in a place I can't reach -- I keep a wooden back scratcher at my desk.
