Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud) Cheers to all of us thieves!

Aesthetic themed list

1. when did you last sing to yourself?
I don't sing.  I used to sing, especially in the car with music playing, but something weird happened to my  voice a few years ago and I have a vocal range of only about 2-3 notes most of the time, so it's just not fun to sing any more.

2. if a crystal ball could tell you the truth about anything, what would you want to know?
The most pressing bit of information I'd like to know today is how much longer my mother is going to live, since she just ran out of her long term care insurance.  (She's almost 100.) Other than that, knowing how much longer we are going to have to endure the current occupant of the White House would either be helpful, or depressing.

3. what is the greatest accomplishment of your life?
Raising children who are kind, loving, and interesting adults.  Aside from that, perhaps the thing I am most proud of is the book I wrote in 1987 and the fact that this journal has been going for more than 6,.700 entries.

4. what is the first happy memory that comes to mind, recent or otherwise?
Well that would have to be my happy experience at the DMV yesterday, when I was pushed ahead of a line of about 30 people because I had a cane and was considered "disabled."  Then it only took 20 minutes for me to get my license renewed and the whole experience was so nice I have to write to the office and thank them.  It's so contrary to other experiences I've had at DMV.

5. if you knew that in one year you would die suddenly, would you change anything about the way you are now living?
No.  Maybe eat more chocolate.

6. do you feel you had a happy childhood?
Happy enough.  It was not perfect, but we were well cared for and had our highs, as well as our lows.

7. would you ever have a deep conversation with a stranger and open up to them?
Hard to say.  Depends on where and what the chemistry was.  My instinctive answer is no.

8. what would you title the autobiography of your life so far?
Funny the World

9. how do you feel about tattoos and piercings? explain.
I have one hole in each ear and no tattoos.  It's not that I'm against them.  If it's your "thing" go ahead, though I must admit that seeing some of the multiple piercings, I have to wonder how people eat and do other things.  I also wonder what the emphasis on tattoos lately is doing to theater costumers.

10. do you wear a lot of makeup? why/why not?
I haven't worn makeup in years.  I could wear lipstick, but I've gotten out of the habit.  I don't wear eye makeup because my eyesight is so bad I can't focus enough to put it I save tons of money by not using any.

11.The world is listening. pick one sentence you would tell them.
We can only make a difference when we care.

12. who in the world would you most like to receive a letter from and what would you want it to say?
Oh shit.  This question again.  I would love to receive a letter of explanation from my friend in Australia.  But it will never come.

13. do you have a desk/workspace and how is it organized/not organized?
Yes I have and I laugh heartily at the word "organized."  It is as far from "organized" as you can get!

14. what is your Starbucks order, and who would you trust to order for you, if anyone?
I never go to Starbucks.

15. what is the most important thing to you in your life right now?
Right this very moment?  What am I going to cook for dinner tonight!

The real Lacie!
