1) This is the theme of The Gilmore Girls, a TV show that ran from 2000 to 2007. It recently enjoyed renewed popularity as a reboot. Were you a fan?
Not at all. I
think I have seen one or two episodes and thought it would be something I
would have enjoyed, but too much catching up to start from the beginning.
We had a show to go to in
Sacramento, which means a small, early dinner. So this time it was
tamales that I had bought the other day. (Thursday, however, I made
delicious spare ribs in my Instant pot. That was a meal worth
remembering.) Both meals just with Walt.
I am always at a loss for
words, unless I'm writing.
When I graduated, my plans had been to
join the convent but they suggested I delay my entrance six months and work
at the school and really think about it. (Perhaps it was because I was
dating a guy at the time!). At the end of the six months, I decided
that no, I didn't really want to join the convent after all, and made plans
to enter UC Berkeley instead. Talk about from the sublime to the

I have often sung in front of an
audience. I was in choirs in school and at several churches for many

They always look like they think they are better than you, and if you try to
be friendly, they spit on you.
