Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud) Cheers to all of us thieves!

Here are some questions from "Love Me Some Surveys"

1. If you could build a second house anywhere, where would it be?
Somewhere overlooking the ocean, back far enough that it's not in danger of falling into the water!

2. What are your favorite articles of clothing?
I have a lot of t-shirts that I wear most of the time--enjoying the fact for for so many years I couldn't fit in most t-shirts.  I love the jacket I had made for me in China, but rarely have a chance to wear it.

3. The last CD you bought or downloaded?
The soundtrack of Hamilton.

4. What time do you generally wake up in the morning?
Lately it's been around 4 a.m.  If I'm lucky, I can go back to sleep again, but that's only about half the time.

5. What is your favorite kitchen appliance?
A  toss-up between my Cuisinart and my Kitchen Aid mixer.

6. If you could play an instrument, what would it be?
I guess the piano, but that ain't gonna happen.

7. What is your Favorite color?
Red...the blue-ish kind, not the orange-ish kind.

8. Do you believe in the afterlife?
Definitely.  There are too many loved ones who have died and believing in an afterlife keeps me from going over the edge.

9. Your Favorite children’s book?
The Velveteen Rabbit.

10. Can you juggle?
Definitely not.

11. What’s your favorite day of the week?
I think Thursday is the best TV night of the week.

12. Which do you prefer, sushi or hamburger?
These days, hamburgers are too big for me.  I prefer sushi.

13. What is your favorite flower?
I love red roses, but only if they have that strong rose scent.  Most red roses you buy in stores these days have no smell at all.

14. What is your favorite meal?
I think I like breakfasts most of all.  Lots of options.  Eggs Benedict (especially crab Benedict), pancakes, waffles, chocolate croissants, and just plain eggs/sausage/hash browns.

15. Describe your ideal weather?
I do love a rain that I can sit inside and watch...but if I have to go out in it, I'd prefer a clear sunny day, about 70 degrees.

16. What is your favorite Ice Cream?
I like a lot of them, but I guess butter pecan. When the season is right I used to love the fresh peach ice cream that I made myself.  But really, Walt and I each have mini Haagen Daz bars most nights.

17. What is your favorite breakfast?
Crab eggs Benedict, but that's only if we are in a restaurant.  At home, I love apple cinnamon oatmeal made in the InstantPot.

18. Where did you meet your spouse or significant other?
Believe it or not, neither one of us remembers.  It was either at Newman Hall at UC Berkeley or on a trip that a bunch of people from Newman Hall made to Yosemite.

Bonus: something you’d like to do that you’ve never done before?
Take a photo safari in Africa, but that ain't gonna happen either.  I'd love to visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and see the orphan elephants they are raising.  I still would like to take that cruise up the inland passage to Alaska, but that probably isn't going to happen either.
