Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud) Cheers to all of us thieves.

Stolen from Something Stirring

1. The smell of pumpkin guts or rotting leaves?
Oh pumpkin guts, I think.

2. Sweet or salty pumpkin seeds?
I'm not a big fan of pumpkin seeds at all, but given the choice, I'd go with salty.

3. Store bought or pumpkin patch pumpkins?
We visited so many pumpkin patches throughout our children's growing up that it feels sacreligious to buy one at a store.

4. Wool or knit sweaters?
Can't knit sweaters be made of wool?

5. Halloween party or exploring haunted places?
Actually neither but, again, having to make a choice I guess I'd choose party.  Maybe.

6. Candy corn or mellowcreme pumpkins?
I've never heard of mellowcreme pumpkins, but even if I had, I suspect I would prefer candy corn.

7. Apple cider donuts or pumpkin donuts?
I had my first apple cider donut at Apple Hill a year ago and I swooned.  I hope we can get up there again some day if we are ever finished with our respective maladies!

8. Apple pie or pumpkin pie?
Pumpkin. All the way.

9. Scary costume or something silly?
We visited a school in China a few years back and all the kids were afraid of me because I was so fat (my biggest disappointment).  I've seen the same reaction from little kids here, so I guess I wear a scary costume all the time, so I'll go with silly.

10. Still, silent nights or rainy, windblown ones?
There's nothing better than a good rainstorm, so long as it doesn't get out of hand!

11. Hocus Pocus or Halloweentown?
I guess those are movies?  I've never seen either.

12. Witches or ghosts?
Ghosts. My favorite cartoon as a kid was always Casper the Friendly Ghost and I was affected by Topper (both movie and TV series) so I'm not afraid of ghosts.

13. Raking leaves or climbing trees?
If only my knees worked and my weight was less, definitely climbing trees.  I used to love climbing trees when I was a kid.  In fact, I climbed a tree the day before Jeri was born.

14. Ouija boards or ghost stories around a campfire?
I don't think I've ever used a Ouija board, but ghost stories sound like fun.

15. Frankenweenie or The Corpse Bride?
Again...movies?  Never saw them.

16. October or November?
Whichever month brings the most leaf color here--I believe it varies from year to year.

17. Black cats or owls?
Either.  Cats are nice, owls are cool.

18. Fireplace or candlelight?
It's a tossup.  Perhaps fireplace.

19. Monster movies or their classic novels?
Novels are always better than movies

20. Carve or paint pumpkins?
Carve.  I've never painted a pumpkin.

I'd love it if you'd leave a comment!

Apparently someone decided I should approve comments before they appear -- it wasn't me! --
so if you don't see your comment, it's because it's awaiting approval.  Sorry 'bout that!
