18 November 2018

Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud) Cheers to all of us thieves!

This one is easier, for us Yanks who don't know Lamingtons from Snot blocks.  I stole this from a questionnaire on Swap Bot.  Thanks to Pandora for her questions last week.

1.What is your favorite animal?
Domestic animal -- the dog; wild animal -- the elephant

2.Your dream vacation?
These days, a luxury hotel overlooking the ocean with a lovely recliner and lots of light to read books.

3.Last person's house you were in?
We went to visit my mother yesterday.

4.Worst injury you've ever had?
Fell over the handlebars of my bike and dislocated my shoulder in 2003.

5.Last play you saw?
Last night I saw It's a Wonderful Life at a local theater.

6.Ever go to camp?
No.  Always wanted to go, but my parents couldn't afford it.

7.Were you an honor roll student in school?
Yes.  I think all four years in high school.

8.What do you want to know about the future?
The outcome of the 2020 elections, and how many more years my mother has (she's 99 now) so I know if her long term care insurance is going to last.

9.Are you wearing any perfume or cologne?
No.  After having a friend who was deathly allergic to all scents and finding out how prevalent such an allergy is, I stopped wearing all scents.

10.Are you due sometime this year for a doctor's visit?
I saw two doctors last week for a lesion on my face.  Depending on the results of the biopsy I will or won't need surgery.

11.Where is your best friend?
About an hour's drive from here.

12.Do you have a tan?
I have never had a tan in my life.  I am either pale or burned, nothing in between.

13.What are you listening to right now?
NCIS on TV

14.Do you collect anything?
From the table I just cleaned off, apparently I collect catalogs and return address labels.

15.Who is the biggest gossiper you know?
I don't really know a gossiper.

16.Last time you got stopped by a cop or pulled over?
Many years ago here in Davis, going 30 in a 25 mph zone.  I just got a warning.

17.What does your last text message say?
"That's OK.  Books are better (ducking)."  Note to my son about a photo he had just sent me (see Photo of the day)

18.Do you like hot sauce?
As a general rule, no, but I'm trying to gradually like milder hot sauces, for starters.

19.Do you need to do laundry?
No.  I just did laundry last night, but I have tons of folding and putting away to do.

20.What is your heritage?
Scotch, Irish and German, that I know.  It would be fun to do one of those DNA tests, but not at how much they cost.

Tom's note:  "No sports Saturday."

I'd love it if you'd leave a comment!

Apparently someone decided I should approve comments before they appear -- it wasn't me! --
so if you don't see your comment, it's because it's awaiting approval.  Sorry 'bout that!
