Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud)  Cheers to all of us thieves!

I snuck in a few questions from Friday Five

1. Is there a smell that will immediately sicken you?
Vomit or anything rotten.

2. When you want quiet, where do you go?
This house is pretty quiet all the time, so I don't need to "go" anywhere

3. Do you need/prefer total darkness when you sleep?
I can sleep...or not sleep...either way.

4. What is your least favorite taste?
Liver.  Goat cheese.  Or Durian.

5. How heavily do you rely upon your sense of touch?
I think I rely on vision more than sense of touch, especially as I get older and my sense of touch begins to get kind of wonky.

6. Do you mostly prepare your meals at home or do you eat out more?
I'd say that about 95% of meals are prepared at home (but oh how I love that 5%!)

7. Is there a time of day when you are more likely to buy food already prepared?
Probably in the middle of the day, when I am more likely to be out by myself.

8. What is your average weekly grocery bill (for how many people)? What is your total restaurant/fast food bill for an average week?
I think it's about $100 a week for the two of us, though that's hard to judge since I only shop every 3 weeks or so (and that also includes "miscellaneous sundries" like toiletries), and also we have Home Fresh, which is 3 ready-to-prepare meals for $60 a week.  Total restaurant bill for an average week is zero.

9. What is your favorite meal to prepare at home?
Since there are only two of us I don't do "special" breakfasts any more, but I do love to make a nice fancy breakfast.

10. What is your favorite meal to order in a restaurant?
It depends on the kind of restaurant.  In a diner, some kind of burger with onion rings; in a "nice" restaurant, prime rib or, if I'm lucky, a crab dish; in a Chinese restaurant chow mein and some kind of pork dish; in a Thai place, pad Thai; in a Japanese restaurant, tuna sushi; in a pizza joint, sausage and mushroom pizza.

11. Do you believe in fate?
I don't know.  I don't think so, but sometimes it seems that there is such a thing.

12. If Karma was to visit you now, would it be kind or kick you in the butt?
Oh lord, I hope it would be kind.

13. Do you believe you have lived another life previous to this one?
I have always felt very strongly that I did.  I have had such a lifelong interest in the period of the holocaust that I feel as if I was there and I am ashamed to say that I have a feeling I was on the wrong side.

14. What do you believe in with an unshakable resolve?
That all people are born equal and deserve equal treatment.

15. What one factor influences your life the most?
Nothing is forever.  People you love die.  Never lose the opportunity to tell those you care for how you feel; you never know when you'll never get that chance again.

I'd love it if you'd leave a comment!

Apparently someone decided I should approve comments before they appear -- it wasn't me! --
so if you don't see your comment, it's because it's awaiting approval.  Sorry 'bout that!
